Android Devices

In order to install the Remote Control app on your Android device, first you will need to enable the Developer Mode. If you already know how to perform this change skip to step #5 On your device, you will need to find the Build number value, to do so: Go to Settings > About phone > Software Information > Build number OR search for Build number on the search area (magnifying glass icon) Note: In some devices, the Developer options screen might be located or named differently, to learn more please refer to the Android official guide here. Once located, tap 7 times over it with your finger until a message saying “You are now a developer!” appear on the screen. Return to the previous screen and locate this new menu/option available on your device, called Developer Options (usually at the bottom). If toggled OFF, toggle it ON, to activate the Developer Options. Scroll down until you find the USB Debugging option and toggle it ON. You can now plug your Android Device to the computer. A message will be prompted on the screen asking for confirmation on allowing USB Debugging. Toggle the option “Always allow this computer” and then press the Allow button. You can install the Remote Control app using the SideQuest app or the ADB tools. Windows PC

To run the Remote Control on your computer you first need to extract the downloaded ZIP file, to do so, follow the instructions below: Store the Remote Control app folder in an easy-to-access folder on your computer and extract it. To extract the file you can: Use 7-zip or similar software Right click on top of the zipped folder Choose the “Extract here” option Or use the Windows built-in Extractor Right click on top of the zipped folder Click on the “Extract All…” option Choose the destination folder Click on the “Extract” button to confirm Once extracted you will see a folder structure like in the image below. Double click on “RemoteControl.exe” and the app will automatically run.

How to run the Remote Control

This is the login screen, in this step you can: Login into the app (1.1) Change the language or exit the app (1.2) (1.1) Login Type your Warden credentials: Username Password (1.2) Change language/exit app If necessary, the warden can change the app language. Note that the button label will indicate the next available language To exit the app click on the X button (red cross). A confirmation dialog message will be presented to you (1.2.1). (1.2.1) Confirm dialog message If you want to exit the app click on the Yes button. Clicking on the No button will get you back to the homepage. No devices available If there are no devices connected this message will appear. They’ll also be listed under an offline list. The message will disappear as soon as one or more wards connect. Connecting to a device Once a device connects to the app its ID/name will be displayed in the top left corner. It will change from the Offline to Online state. Click on the Device ID/name button to connect to it. Ward Login A list of available Wards will be displayed on the top right corner. Click on the desired ward id/name to log it in. Warden perspective (Remote Control) Ward perspective (EnhanceVR) Note: as seen in the Ward perspective, this screen is presented to him/her while the Warden is processing the Ward login, no action is needed from the patient/ward side. Ward Mood & Sleep Upon login, the Mood & Sleep screen will be presented. In this screen the warden will select the current ward Mood and how many hours he/she slept. Warden perspective (Remote Control) Ward perspective (EnhanceVR) Warden Controls Once the ward logs in, an avatar representation will be visible in the center of the scene. Reference: Warden Sign out button Headset and current ward account Zoom in/out Pan - Left/Right, Up/Down List of Activities Four main buttons will be displayed in the top left corner, they represent: Workout - Workout of the day, suggesting 3 different games every day Games - Game library composed by 15 different games Options - Here, the Warden can change the size or color of the Tutorial subtitles for example Devices - A list of all devices that can be controlled by this particular Warden WOD - Workout of the day The Workout of the day is composed of 3 different games every day. To start the WOD, click the “Start workout” button. Warden perspective (Remote Control) Ward perspective (EnhanceVR) Note: in the Ward perspective, he/she will be visualizing which game he/she will be playing in the WOD. Games When the games button is clicked, the list of all games will be displayed. The Warden will then choose the game that the Ward will be playing next. At the same time, the Ward will visualize the game library. Warden perspective (Remote Control) Ward perspective (EnhanceVR) Selected game Selecting a game will open a new section of options. Start Game (without the tutorial) Start Tutorial + Game Quit (return to the game library) Warden perspective (Remote Control) Ward perspective (EnhanceVR) Note: the Ward will be visualizing the details of the selected game. Start Game When the Warden clicks on the Start Game button, the game will start with no Tutorial, straight to the main session. During the session, the warden will be able to: Quit Game - ends the current session Start Tutorial - ends the current session and start the tutorial Pause - pause the session Restart Game - restarts the current session Start Tutorial + Game When the Warden clicks on the Start Tutorial + Game button, the game will start from the Tutorial. During the tutorial the warden will be able to: Quit Game - ends the current session Stop Tutorial - skips the tutorial and start the game session Pause - pauses the tutorial Pausing the session The warden can pause the session at any time. Warden perspective (Remote Control) Ward perspective (EnhanceVR) Options menu In the main area the Warden can select and change any available options: Logout - logouts the ward Pointer - toggles the ward pointer Subtitles - toggles the tutorial subtitles Sound effects - toggles the sound effects Music - toggles the Music Voice (language) - select the tutorial voice over language Subtitles (language) - select the tutorial subtitles language Subtitles size - select the subtitle size Subtitles color - change the subtitle color Warden perspective (Remote Control) Ward perspective (EnhanceVR)

Cogniclear VR

We are ecstatic to announce our upcoming second product, Cogniclear VR, an immersive cognitive screening tool that we are co-designing with our partners at Lusíadas Saúde and Roche Portugal to be sensitive enough to potentially detect a cognitive disorder so early in its tracks (e.g. subjective cognitive decline) to enable earlier intervention for better health outcomes.

Add new device and attach it to the Warden user

Now that you have your headset DeviceID, you are ready to add it to your Organization, follow the instructions below to learn how to properly add it. Inside the organization page, scroll down to the Devices area and click on the Create Device button. Fill the necessary fields * and then click the Create Device button. This new device will now be visible in the Devices area, inside your Organization page. To assign this device to a specific Warden go to its user profile, from within the Organization page, by pressing on top of its name or on the "eye" icon. Scroll down to the Devices area and click on the Attach Device button. Select the desired device and then click the Attach Device button. You have now successfully connected the device to the Warden user. This Warden will now be able to control this device from inside the Remote Control app, read the next section to learn how to run/install Remote control.
